What happens when you take your sculpture for a spin? Find out in this week long art vehicle workshop. We’ll explore the history of nomadic artworks, scavenge for parts, and collaborate on a convoy of fantastical constructions.

YDance, in partnership with An Lanntair, will be delivering an Award in Dance Leadership Course accredited by Leadership Skills Foundations. The Dance Leadership Award helps young people develop leadership skills through dance, building confidence and preparing them to lead activities in their community.  

This fun and practical 3hr course will give teachers and youth workers the confidence, skills and knowledge to deliver dance sessions that develop creativity and basic movement skills with their young people.

Join us for a fun, creative week of dance led by an experienced YDance tutor – Beth Gildea. Learn a variety of styles including Jazz, Street, Contemporary, creative and more and finish the week with a sharing on the final day!

During Johnathan Bell’s exhibition ‘Atharrachadh: Transmutation’, children aged 8 – 12 can join Trish Bell to make their own assemblage artworks.

This session is for children age 2 – 5 and their parent or carer to be creative together. 

Come to Art Cafe, a creative hangout with hot drinks, snacks and a creative group project to dive into.  Suitable for age 14 – 18 year olds.   This is your space to meet friends, express yourself, and make something amazing together.  

Baby Disco is a high-energy, family-friendly dance party where babies, toddlers, mums, and dads can come together to move, play, and enjoy something truly unique. We take classical music and transform it with fun, upbeat dance rhythms – creating the perfect soundtrack for little ones (and grown-ups!) to bop along to.

A relaxed and welcoming chance to play the Steinway grand piano in An Lanntair’s auditorium. Whether you have a polished piece or something you’re still working on, this is a space to share your playing in a supportive, social setting.

Music Broth, Scotland’s Loudest Library are coming back to An Lanntair with lots of musical instruments to try!
This event is fun for all ages, with our music librarian on hand to help with trying instruments for the first time.
