Superhero movies don’t come much less serious and sombre than David F. Sandberg’s sweet and funny adventure. Thanks to an ancient wizard, 14 year old Billy Batson (Asher Angel) can turn into the adult super hero Shazam (Zachary Levi), simply by shouting out the all important word – “SHAZAM!”
Still a kid at heart, Shazam revels in this new alter ego by doing what any teen would do: have fun with it. Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil…
