Little Wander in association with PBJ Management present: James Acaster Cold Lasagne Hate Myself 1999.

One time I bought a lasagne from the supermarket, heated it up in the oven and ate a bit of it and it wasn’t very nice so I put it in the fridge because it felt wrong to dump a whole lasagne in the bin and then later on I ate a spoonful of the cold lasagne because I was drunk and it was absolutely delicious. It was 4am. I then changed the name of a WhatsApp I was a part of to COLD LASAGNE HATE MYSELF 1999 because I had been thinking a lot about how 1999 was the best year of my life and also about how much I hate myself sometimes. The next day I was asked to name my new show. Come along.

James Acaster is ‘One of comedy’s most original voices’ (Evening Standard). His staggering three show ‘Trelogy’ (Recognise, Represent and Reset) played to packed houses around the country over three consecutive nights before culminating in a four part series for Netflix, Repertoire. It’s the first of its kind;
a stand up mini series with an overarching narrative, and James is the first UK comedian to shoot more than one Netflix Original special.

A whimsical master, he has received acclaim from around the world, including a record breaking 5 consecutive nominations for ‘Best Comedy Show’ at the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, and winning the 2015 Chortle Award for Best Show, and Best International Show Award
at the 2014 New Zealand International Comedy Festival.

As well as his glowing stand-up career, James is also a TV and radio regular and has secured himself as a favourite across both platforms. This includes appearances on panel shows such as Mock the Week and Would I Lie to You? Alongside many of his own projects, James wrote his own sitcom We the Jury
for the BBC in 2016 starring Diane Morgan, Ed Easton and Sophie Thompson.

James’s debut book, Classic Scrapes, made the Sunday Times bestseller list.

He also makes things independently including a YouTube comedy series called Sweet Home Ketteringa and a music album with his band ‘Luna Dott Raids The Bee Pigeon’ which is available on bandcamp.
