On 10 June 2018, 100 years after the passing of the Act that first granted women the vote, four mass-participation events will take place in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh and London.
An Lanntair, with support from Western Isles Women’s Network, are working with artist Chris Hammacott to make a banner for the Edinburgh procession on 10th June 2018.
Women are invited to come along to work together on a banner representing women in the Western Isles. Textiles Artist Chris Hammacott will lead the sessions and teach you some new textiles skills. The sessions will be held in An Lanntair Community room. No booking is necessary – come for one workshop or all of them!
