An Lanntair’s Artist Gatherings are monthly social events for island artists of all disciplines, from music, film and theatre to visual art and design.

Each month we invite two special guests to share their work. Our final gathering of 2023 will feature Zoe Paterson Macinnes, a multi-disciplinary artist who grew up on Lewis and recently returned to the island; Zoe’s work includes film, visual art, and poetry and explores themes of identity and belonging. Also appearing will be Robbie Thomson, who works across visual art, music and theatre and presented work in Indonesia, Mexico, Korea, Australia and across Europe before moving to Lewis.

There may also be mince pies and crackers.

If you’d like to share your work at a future Artist Gathering, contact Andrew Eaton-Lewis at All contributors will be paid a fee, but you do not have to be established or professional to attend or take part; we are here to support all forms of creativity.

This event is part of An Lanntair’s Artist Support Programme, supported by the Foyle Foundation.
