The gallery is L-shaped with 44.7 linear metres (142 feet). Wall heights are 4.5 metres. There are 3 skylights with blinds and 2 narrow floor-to-ceiling corner windows, allowing total black-out. The foyer has 2 walls x 4.8 metres. Walls are skim-coated plaster on fermacell, marine ply and block-work and the hanging system is ‘drill and fill’. Lighting is on a fixed track with floods and spots and the floor is painted concrete; Flortred dark grey. There are floor and wall power-points throughout and access is at street level through the loading bay. This enables large items – e.g. a car – to be brought into the gallery.
