Norrie “Tago” MacIver brings his warm, charismatic stage presence and soaring Gaelic vocals to this special Family Concert.
Originally from Carloway, Norrie has performed on some of the country’s biggest stages, from the Barrowlands to the Usher Hall, and has toured across the world sharing the richness of Gaelic song. His music blends tradition with a lively, modern spirit, making it instantly engaging whether you’re young, old, or new to folk music entirely.
A former Gaelic Singer of the Year and a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, Norrie has appeared on An Lanntair’s stage many times, both as a member of Dà Fhichead, Atlantic Blast and even as a ‘Hebridean Woman’ – in the house band.
Perfect for families, this concert offers a chance to experience one of Gaelic music’s most exciting voices up close – inviting everyone to tap their toes, sing along, and enjoy the vibrant stories and sounds of Scotland’s musical heritage.
