Are you an island-based creative? Would you like to chat to, and share your work with, others like you across the Hebrides, Shetland and Orkney?

In this online event, supported by An Lanntair (Isle of Lewis), Shetland Arts, Taigh Chearsabhagh (Uist), and Pier Arts Centre (Orkney), everyone will have the opportunity to share something they are working on with other island-based creatives. It could be a painting, a drawing, a sculpture, a piece of spoken word text, a song, or just a virtual tour of your work space or studio – anything that represents where you are creatively right now. (NB: there is no pressure to share something if you’d prefer not to; watching and listening is also fine!)

Depending on numbers, we then plan to split into groups for smaller conversation sessions, in a relaxed and informal networking event that combines elements of ceilidh and speed dating to bring together island-based creatives from across Scotland.

Everyone who books a ticket will be sent a Zoom link 24 hours ahead of the event.

No Artist Is An Island is presented by Even Here, Even Now, a campaign and manifesto advocating for island-based artists in Scotland. Find out more about Even Here, Even Now here: https://www.shetlandarts.org/projects/even-here-even-now
