“The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there” L. P. Hartley

There is a strong desire in us all for life validation. Writing, whether for our own satisfaction or to share our histories with a wider audience, can fulfil that need.

Experiences from childhood, adulthood, work, other cultures, family, and friendships—both positive and negative—can be reflected on and shaped into meaningful narratives.

By stimulating our creativity and imagination we will remember and reimagine the sights, smells, sounds, tastes and sensations of the past.

Our homes are a source of objects we have collected over the years, each of these has a story held within them. In this class you will work to release those stories through a form of expression that engages and suits you.
