Cocreate is a friendly, relaxed, creative get-together for parents, caregivers, and expectant Mums. It’s a great way to connect with others and ‘wee ones’ are welcome too, so no need to worry about finding childcare, and no set up or clean up at home to worry about.
You can collaborate and create together with your wee one and there is space to play in the same room, colour, draw on the giant chalkboard wall or work with air dry clay (children do not require a ticket and there is not an age limit). There is space for prams. We often wind the session down with bubbles and a galaxy projector.
The sessions are facilitated by artist Elaine Smith who will offer creative activities such as printmaking, collage, journaling, and air dry clay. Everyone is offered a creative journal with a list of ideas and themes to help you get started. We explore different mediums and techniques, taking our time and going at your preferred pace before moving on. We try to keep it simple and relaxed. We go with the flow and above all have fun exploring our creativity!
