The drummer for influential and successful Manchester punk outfit Buzzcocks, John Maher’s career since 1983 has been as a specialist in building performance engines for air-cooled Volkswagens. He has clients throughout the UK and Europe and his work features regularly on the road, at the track, and in the VW press.
