An Lanntair’s Artist Gatherings are informal, monthly get togethers where artists of all disciplines – from music, film and theatre to visual art and design – are invited to share stories, ideas and work in progress.
Our September gathering will include a conversation with Dalziel + Scullion., two well known Scottish-based artists who work with sculpture, photography, video and sound, exploring new ways to engage with the environment and ecology. Matthew and Louise recently moved to Lewis and have been supporting several island-based artists through An Lanntair’s creative mentoring programme. We’ll also be talking to artist Rupachitta Robertson, whose recent work includes An Dubh is an Dearg, a memorable installation at Baile na Cille Church in Uig.
