The vinyl forest stairway was created by young islanders who are Care Experienced or facing disadvantages. They were tasked with designing a welcoming entrance to the new Bairn’s Hoose and Children’s Library. They chose to draw imagery from nature and children’s literature.
The group worked with An Lanntair artist educators, and support workers from CNES Education Attainment, Bairn’s Hoose, Who Cares? Scotland, and MCR Pathways.
