Scottish Photographer Brian Sweeney’s exhibition of photographs of rural football grounds in the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Scotland celebrates grass roots football. The desolate pitches he captures are far removed from the glitz of celebrity footballers and rich clubs.
In this workshop with Artist Alice Macleod, pupils will explore the landscape of football stadiums. We will use photography and printmaking techniques to create our own 3D football pitches in unusual landscapes. The workshop will take place in An Lanntair’s education room and gallery. If Covid19 restrictions prevent visiting, the workshop can be delivered online via Teams.
