Juliette Forrest is an award-winning children’s author and her fourth novel, The Mountain Rescue Dog, is a thrilling adventure set in the wilds of Scotland.
To bring her story to life, Juliette worked closely with the Search and Rescue Dog Association, learning how these incredible dogs are trained to save lives and just how dangerous their missions can be.
In this fascinating talk, Juliette will teach children about the extraordinary power of a dog’s senses, the real-life risks involved in rescue operations and some awe-inspiring acts of canine bravery throughout history.
