Sign up for our Summer Rock School, hosted by Scott C. Park.

Join a band boot camp where you’ll pick a couple of songs — covers or originals — and work on them with Scott. You’ll learn rehearsal techniques, songwriting and arrangement tips, and how to tighten up and grow as a band.

Scott brings with him a wealth of experience as a performer, songwriter, and bandleader. Whether you play guitar, bass, drums, sing — or anything else — come along and give it a try.

Tues 21 – Thurs 23 July
2pm–4pm each day
For age: 13 – 18
Cost: £15

The Rock School runs across three days, finishing with a live performance on the 23th for parents and friends.

Growing up on his family’s campsite on the remote Isle of Lewis gave singer-guitarist Scott C. Park a unique perspective and a strong connection to the west coast of Scotland. Inspired by artists like Pavement, Wilco, and Neil Young, his music blends slacker-rock influences with vivid storytelling and a distinctive Scottish voice.

This activity is part of SOUNDWAVES – TONNAN-FUAIME, An Lanntair’s music development project funded by Youth Music Initiative Access to Music Making fund which creates access to high-quality music making opportunities for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years. The Youth Music Initiative is a music education programme with a vision to put music at the heart of young people’s lives and learning funded by the Scottish Government through Creative Scotland.
