This July, OILCAN – the musical lands in Stornoway for a special one-off workshop at An Lanntair, offering a bold blend of personal storytelling, songwriting, and stagecraft rooted in Scottish tradition and contemporary rap.

Open to anyone aged 16+, this dynamic four-hour session invites you to explore playwriting, lyric writing, and melody-making in a welcoming, no-experience-needed environment.
Facilitated by professional artists, the workshop feeds directly into the development of OILCAN – the musical, with chances to have your work published, performed, or even commissioned.
