Feel the rhythm and discover the joy of Brazilian Samba at An Lanntair in Stornoway! Our fun and energetic Introduction to Samba workshops are perfect for beginners, with no previous experience needed. Learn samba rhythms from talented musicians and enjoy an uplifting session filled with music, movement and Brazilian spirit.
The workshops will be held in An Lanntair’s auditorium. Family members are invited to come in for the last 10 minutes to hear what the children and young people have been learning.
This activity is part of SOUNDWAVES – TONNAN-FUAIME, An Lanntair’s music development project funded by Youth Music Initiative Access to Music Making fund which creates access to high-quality music making opportunities for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years. The Youth Music Initiative is a music education programme with a vision to put music at the heart of young people’s lives and learning funded by the Scottish Government through Creative Scotland.
