An Lanntair’s Artist Gatherings are monthly social events for island artists of all disciplines, from music, film and theatre to visual art and design. You do not need to be established or professional to come along. Everyone is welcome and we are here to support all forms of creativity.
Each month we invite two guests to talk about their work. In September we’re delighted to welcome two local creatives who have made a significant contribution to Lewis culture in recent years – visual artist Danielle Macleod, fresh from a solo exhibition at Grinneabhat and a trip to Germany partly funded by an An Lanntair artist support travel bursary; and singer-songwriter Sean Harrison, whose band launched their new album Years Of Young Innocence with a sold out show at An Lanntair earlier this year. Sean is also one of the driving forces behind Stornoway’s annual Stramash Festival.
