Join Violet Fraser, Lead Coastal Ambassador & Community Ambassador for Lewis at Clean Coast Outer Hebrides, for a drop-in session to learn more about the Crisp Packet Project!
This will be a demonstration of techniques to make emergency blankets and other items, with time to practice and ask questions.
This is in collaboration with Chloe Mckenna who will host a presentation and discussion in the Drum Room upstairs in An Lanntair from 3-5pm and participants are encouraged to come along to see other local artists using marine plastics, and hear about her research in Lewis over the summer.
Both events are free to attend, but we will have a Clean Coast Outer Hebrides collection box available for anyone who wishes to make a donation.
Booking is recommended but not essential, those attending on the day will be on a first come first served basis until the room capacity is full. You can drop in or out any time during the hour, even if you have 5 minutes, stop by to say halò!
This is open to adults, and Clean Coast Outer Hebrides especially encourage those who wish to learn a skill to share with their community.
