Fiona Simes
Fiona Simes studied Fine art and Print making in Hastings and Plymouth before moving to the Hebrides in 1992.
Her deep abiding love of the Highlands and Islands is a constant source of inspiration. She puts her heart and soul into her work, trying to catch emotional responses and the mood of a particular moment. The landscape, the history of a place, the environment, wildlife and the stories of peoples lives are important to her and colour her larger landscapes in subtle ways. Her small lino prints depict elements of a busy life in the western isles.

Steven Tod
Steven Tod was born in Edinburgh and studied art in Leeds, working as an archaeological illustrator and a landscape painter before teaching art and design at several schools in England. After a period of time as a sign writer he felt compelled to move back to Scotland.
Orkney provided a stepping stone teaching art in Kirkwall and then an art teaching job offer came up in Lewis. He worked as an art teacher in most of the schools on the Island for eight years. At 55 he took early retirement to focus on his own work. He now teaches adults and produces children's picture books.
