An Lanntair’s Gallery will host an exhibition of work created and curated by local young people entitled ‘Ignite Change’. This exhibition provides an opportunity for young artists (under 27) to exhibit their work in a public space. The curators are ‘Board not Bored’: a group of young volunteers (under 27) who have steered the direction of the Las!/Ignite! Festival by actively researching and shaping the programme and exhibitions. The pieces were submitted to Board not Bored for consideration and focus on the festival’s overall theme of ‘Change’. This theme was interpreted by the artists in any way they see fit and through any format or medium
