Constellation | Reul-Bhad
Main Gallery
4 Feb – 5 Mar
The Hebridean Dark Skies Festival presents a group exhibition in which seven artists create new work in response to the festival’s themes of astronomy, darkness, and our night skies.
Constellation | reul-bhad will feature new work by Jon Macleod, Jill Smith, Trish Bell, Judy Spark, Mhairi Law, Jonathan Macdonald, and Moira Maclean.
The image above is taken from Deiseal by Jon Macleod, a previous project for which Jon set up 50 solargraph cameras across the Isle of Lewis from 21 December to 21 June, as “a kind of slow CCTV designed to capture the particular extremes of light and dark in the islands across the year”.
