Get creative with concrete in this hands-on workshop with Robbie Thompson that explores how to design and build fun, functional sculptures to be installed on our forecourt. We’ll fabricate moulds using carpentry skills and work as a team to pour large scale works that can be used as street furniture, as well as interacted with through built in speakers and integrated lighting. The sessions will experiment with materials such as jesmonite and snowcrete and we’ll discover the work of artists such as Racheal Whiteread, Henry Moore and Eduardo Paolozzi .
