Looking for a creative hangout? Join us at Pointers Youth Centre on North Beach street in Stornoway for the new Art Cafe for age 14 – 18 year olds. Each month there will be a group participatory art project to dive into. This is your space to meet friends, express yourself, and make something amazing together. Hot drinks and toast provided.
The Art Cafe will be staffed by a Comhairle nan Eilean Siar Community Learning and Development youth worker and one of An Lanntair’s Artist Educators.
This project is part of An Lanntair’s Youth Arts Project supported by Young Start. Young Start aims to create opportunities for Scotland’s children and young people aged 8 to 24 to help them realise their full potential. Young Start is a grants programme run by The National Lottery Community Fund, which distributes money from dormant bank accounts.
