Baby Disco is a high-energy, family-friendly dance party where babies, toddlers, mums, and dads can come together to move, play, and enjoy something truly unique. We take classical music and transform it with fun, upbeat dance rhythms – creating the perfect soundtrack for little ones (and grown-ups!) to bop along to.
Children (and their adults!) can choose an instrument or prop, shake it, bang it, tap it, and become part of the music. Expect lots movement, and hands-on musical fun.
After all the music making and excitement, we wind down with a short story time followed by gentle relaxation, giving everyone a moment to settle, breathe, and reset.
This activity is part of SOUNDWAVES – TONNAN-FUAIME, An Lanntair’s music development project funded by Youth Music Initiative Access to Music Making fund which creates access to high-quality music making opportunities for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years. The Youth Music Initiative is a music education programme with a vision to put music at the heart of young people’s lives and learning funded by the Scottish Government through Creative Scotland.
