King Creosote Announces Tour

Absolutely delighted to share details of a new King Creosote Tour – ‘Any Port in a Storm’ , Kenny was keen to take the I DES show out to some Coastal & Seaside Towns and we’re delighted to share the info with you now!

The “Any Port in a Storm” Tour sees King Creosote touring in the UK hitting coastal towns and Islands in Scotland with some shows in Northern England too. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 19th Jan – set your alarms!


Trad Music Workshop

Thur 08 Feb, 2pm

Trad music workshop with Gary Innes and Rory Matheson.

In advance of their rescheduled Stornoway gig on Thurs 8th February, join musicians Gary Innes and Rory Matheson for an inspiring traditional music workshop. Depending on the mix of players who attend, you will be split into groups for tuition and then come back together to play a tune or two. Suitable for players of accordion and piano who are at an intermediate to advanced level. Bring your instrument (stage piano available).

Music Soup

Tuesdays, in term-time, 4pm-5pm

Join Eilidh in her music class designed for children in P2 – P4.

This class will explore all aspects of music from beat and rhythm to dynamics and pitch. There will be a chance to sing, dance to the rhythm and play musical games!

There’s also an opportunity to try out and explore musical instruments, and even play together as a band! No prior musical education is necessary, and this class will give young people their first steps in whichever musical journey they wish to take!

Atlantis Window Pictures Workshop

Parents and children can enjoy a working on a creative project together at our monthly Sunday family art workshops.

On the last Sunday in January, you can make a laminated ‘Aquaman’-inspired Atlantis, or under the sea picture to hang on a window at home.
