Description

The Between Islands project was devised by An Lanntair with the aim of encouraging collaboration between the arts and heritage communities of the Outer Hebrides, Orkney, and Shetland. This recording presents just some of the material that has been created to date through the musical element of the initiative. This double CD features music from musicians from across Shetland, Orkney, and the Outer Hebrides, including Julie Fowlis, Kris Drever, Willie Campbell, and Saltfishforty.  Part 1 features 15 studio tracks with Part 2 featuring 15 live tracks.
