Na Boireannaich: The Women by Danielle Macleod and Alice Macleod. A body of work exploring themes of representation of Hebridean women in songs, folklore and local history.
Workshops for upper Primary pupils will include a tour of the exhibition and background to the stories depicted. The pupils will then take part in a workshop making masks / headpieces relating to the story.
Secondary Art and Design pupils can visit for a tour and talk.
Workshop suitable for P4 – P7 in English or Gaelic,
or talk suitable for Secondary Art + Design pupils (any year group).
Location: An Lanntair gallery and art room
Available on Thursdays and Fridays from 3rd Nov – 24th Nov 2022
Transport Support: schools can claim back 50% of their travel costs, up to a max of £100, for travel to An Lanntair to take part in an exhibition workshop. (Request a claim form on booking).
