Scottish Ballet has recently launched as a National Centre for Dance Health.
Meet SB’s Health Artist Danielle Tyrer, to hear about our programmes for people living with Parkinson’s, MS, and dementia; the resources we’ve developed for those experiencing Long Covid; ‘Duet’ for people with limited mobility; and the films and online support created for health and social care professionals.
Learn too about our successfully trialled hybrid DPS (Dance for Parkinson’s Scotland) and Elevate (MS) classes, starting in August. Access these weekly classes from your own homes or community groups.
This talk is for NHS staff, care home and social care staff, people living with any of the above conditions and friends and family supporting them. Experience ‘Health at Hand®’, first hand!
Scottish Ballet will be performing A Streetcar Named Desire at 7.30pm on June 29 & 30 and Nutcracker Sweets at 2.30pm on June 30 at the Lewis Sports Centre. Tickets will be available from An Lanntair from Fri 21 April.
