New Creative Scotland Open Fund

Creative Scotland’s Open Fund: Sustaining Creative Development has been launched amidst the disruption of COVID-19 – a situation without precedent and which sees the creative sector facing significant challenge.

Understanding that artists and creative practitioners may be looking at new ways of working, reimaging what they do, or want to take some creative risks at this time, the Creative Scotland fund is designed to support artists and creative practitioners sustain their practice in a changing world by asking what they want to do, and how it will help themselves and/or others in the months and years to come.

Funding for between £1k and £50k is available to individuals and organisations. It is open all year round, with no deadlines, and is able to support activity for up to 12 months.

Freelance and self-employed artists and creative practitioners in Scotland can apply for projects supporting the development of their practice.

And organisations and groups based in Scotland, whose work or project involves the arts, screen, and creative industries can also apply.
