These online music sessions for 5-8 year-olds provide a firm foundation in general musicianship and basic note-reading skills through singing and listening activities, movement and the playing of percussion – tuned and untuned. They act as a great springboard for children interested in beginning a musical instrument, and for those studying one already as they will enhance and develop what has already been learned.
Music theory is taught using Music Mind Games, a colourful, multi-sensory resource comprising hundreds of entertaining and co-operative games designed to tap into children’s natural desire to play.
While schools are closed to most children, Music Makers will take place online via Zoom. Book one ticket for your household. You will be sent a link for the Zoom session via email. (If you didn’t get it, check your Spam folder). When you book online, please ensure that your email address is correct on your An Lanntair account.
You need a computer or tablet with an internet connection. An Lanntair have a limit number of devices which can be borrowed if you don’t have access to one. Email Moira Macdonald for details: email@example.com.
