Monday Night Music Session

The Monday Night Music Session on Monday, 4th November, will open with our programmed artist Callum Macleod (Mother Night, Colin Macleod Band, Black Cub), followed by an open session.

Callum is a local musician who writes and performs as Mother Night – crafting a blend of psychedelia, funk and dance music that he calls ‘Pagan Pop’.

Vic Galloway of BBC Introducing named him on his official ‘One to Watch 2019’ list, and he receives regular airplay on 6Music and BBC Scotland. He released his debut album in April of this year on London label state51, and has been touring across the UK in support of the album for the last two years.

Afterwards anyone can join in- come along, bring your instrument, and take part in the open session.  These sessions are designed to be welcoming for all musicians to come along, try new material and play to an audience, have a wee jam with the other musicians.
