Phoenix Theatre Youth Section takes to the An Lanntair stage for their debut performance!
Showcasing two short plays, the youth section – who range in age from 8 – 18 – are delighted to bring their talents to an Lanntair for one night only.
Medieval Helpdesk by TLC Creative. A sketch, 750 years ahead of its time! Full of pun-tastic, parodic fun performed by the younger members of the group and directed, produced, staged, and costumed by the older youth members.
And Wait, Wait, Bo Bait by Lindsay Price. A foray into the theatre of the absurd (a form of drama that emphasises the absurdity of human existence by employing disjointed, repetitious and meaningless dialogue, purposeless and confusing situations, and plots that lack realistic or logical development) from the older members of the group, presenting a vignette on the theme of waiting.
