This is a good introduction to lino printmaking or an opportunity for the more experienced to develop their skills.
In this course of workshops we will be exploring this versatile printmaking technique starting with basic skills and moving on to more complex designs, reduction lino-cut prints and multi-block prints.
Using natural forms as the inspiration for your images (leaves, shells, pebbles, birds, fish etc) you will make printing blocks that can be used over and over again to print cards, bookmarks or to print on bags, T-shirts etc; and you will have made a variety of prints to take home.
Materials will be provided but a protective overall or apron is advisable.
