This course offers a beginners guide to methods of printing directly on to fabric using lino prints, gelliplate processes, monoprinting and relief printing. Each weekly session will offer a taster into these methods of printing and hand painting to create a unique piece of fabric. In combination with hand stitching methods and free motion embroidery, the aim of the sessions will be to both create a decorative fabric using reclaimed materials and then use this to create a final piece, this could be a bag, or cushion or a three-dimensional fabric basket.
