These creative workshops are for children age 5+ and their parent or carer to take part in together during the Hebridean Dark Skies festival.

Space painting
Work on a big wall painting of space and the planets using metallic and ultra-violet paints.
Sat 11 Mar, 10.30am – 11.30am; Education room

Tardis
Drop-in workshop in An Lanntair community room in the afternoon to design a Tardis for Dr Who.  Build control panels to fly the Tardis, and draw outer space as you imagine it on the windows.
Sat 11 Mar, 1.30 – 4.30pm; Community room
Un-ticketed – drop in for as long as you like

Planets and alien finger puppets
Work together with your family to build a cardboard moon landscape complete with craters, then design and make alien finger puppets.
Sat 18 Mar, 10.30am – 11.30am; Education room

Starry light pictures
With your family, make a string light constellation picture of the night sky.
Sat 18 Mar, 1.30 – 2.30pm: Community room

Class numbers are limited and booking is essential.  If you have booked tickets but can’t attend, please contact the box office on 01851 708480 so that we can make the spaces available to another family.  If a workshop is ‘sold out’, ask to be placed on the waiting list in case tickets become available.
