Orange and clove pomanders were popular in the late middle ages for their perfume and the belief that they would ward off illness. They also resemble microscopic images of the covid-19 coronavirus. (Disclaimer – this decoration doesn’t really protect against Covid-19). Come with your family to make these traditional scented decorations from orange, clove and sandalwood oil.
