Learn how to photograph the stars with Stornoway Astronomical Society.
This workshop was a hit at the 2020 Hebridean Dark Skies Festival, and Andy Yearley of Stornoway Astronomical Society recently appeared on the BBC Travel Show, showing presenter Ade Adepitan how to photograph a galaxy from Gallan Head.
This is a free event but very limited capacity – tickets are available from 10am on Monday 7 February.
Dark Skies Discovery Day is a whole day of Hebridean Dark Skies Festival events in partnership with Lews Castle College UHI and the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Day tickets are available for just £15/£13.

We would also like to thank our event partners, Calanais Visitor Centre, Stornoway Astronomical Society, Gallan Head Community Trust, and Lews Castle College UHI , as well as Cala Hotels, Outer Hebrides Tourism, and VisitScotland.
