Following a successful debut tour culminating at The Leicester Square Theatre and a recording of a sold-out home gig, comedian Andrew Bird is back and bringing his brand-new show to Stornoway – a place he’s wanted to perform at for a long time, mainly because it’s the only main place shown on the weather map he has never done. This is his ‘complete-the-weather-map’ show!
Riding a wave of success after supporting Michael McIntyre on the UK leg of his Big World Tour, including sell-out shows at the 02 and Wembley, Aberdeen and Rob Brydon in Inverness, Andrew takes to An Lanntair’s stage with his UK Tour Invincible.
As well as supporting Michael McIntyre he has also supported Rob Brydon, John Bishop, was hand-picked by American Brian Regan for his only UK show, and supported Russell Howard in July this year for a series of shows at Bristol City’s Football Stadium.
Andrew has written for TV shows 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Warrior, and Lee Mack’s Ducks Quacks Don’t Echo. He also hosts his own podcast, A Funny Taste in Music, where he chats to comedians about music.
Expect brutally honest stand-up with free-flowing stories and opinions on Prince Andrew, ‘Burkinis’, and being possible the only comedian who can talk about flying on a private plane without being hated for it…
