Deiseal also means clockwise and this exhibition of solar-graphs, taken from 50 pinhole ‘cameras’ that had been placed in various locations throughout the Islands, is a visual record of the path of the sun from the winter to the summer solstice – 21st December 2015 to 21st June 2016. The cameras were ultra lo-tech, comprising a can containing a piece of photographic film, and each recorded the daily arc of the sun’s path as it rose through the sky from the shortest to the longest day of the year.
