Techniques of Drawing with Ruth O’Dell
Drawing is about training the eye to observe with precision and sensitivity, and to analyse subtle relationships between surfaces. This course will help you to put down on paper your own unique vision of what you see around you. Working from Still-life compositions, you will learn to look and draw accurately and confidently, pushing aside pre-conceptions of what things look like. You will explore materials including charcoal, pencil, pen and wash, pastels and conté crayon. Materials provided.
