Come join us at for a wild banquet, hosted by Mark Williams from Galloway Wild Foods. Mark appeared on Radio 4’s the Food Programme and his encyclopaedic knowledge and creative genius with our outdoor larder was a revelation. During the banquet Mark Williams will talk about our edible landscape.
The menu will be based around foods foraged at the seaside and may include:
Seaweed sourdough with wild garlic and Ravens goats cheese pesto
Wild flower pudding with aioli
Foraged dashi broth
Pickled seafood and seashore salad with elderberry dressing
Cod cooked in kelp ‘en papilotte’ with new season baby potatoes, mussels and wild vegetables
Dark chocolate and sea buckthorn tart with sea salt ice cream
A choice of tea or coffee and biscuits
