Bidh Fèis Purvai 2017 a’ comharrachadh a’ chàirdeis fhada eadar Alba is na h-Innseachan; a’ taisbeanadh dualchais chultarail Àisia a Deas a tha a-nise na phàirt de bheatha ann an Alba is na h-Eileanan Siar. Tha Purvai a’ coimhead ri ealain, ceòl, aodach, eachdraidh is cultar là an-diugh is là an-dè; a’ comharrachadh na dàimh eadar muinntir nan Innseachan agus Gàidheil na h-Alba.
Ann am Fèis Purvais am-bliadhna, bidh consairtean, bùithtean-obrach agus òraidean bho luchd-ealain. Leanaidh pròiseactan ealain Purvai tro 2017, le taisbeanadh air ealain là an-diugh, agus sgaoileadh sgeulachdan bho theaghlaichean à Àisia a Deas agus Leòdhas as t-fhoghar.
