Winner of the best environmental film award WFF2018!

Queen Without Land, set on the remote island of Svalbard, follows Frost, a beautiful polar bear mother, and Asgeir Helgestad, a Norwegian wildlife filmmaker. From complete darkness in winter to the absolute light of the midnight sun, Svalbard transforms from a cold and inhospitable wilderness to the most joyous and surprisingly diverse of ecosystems. However, the disappearing sea ice has pushed life there to the brink. As Frost is forced further inland, Asgeir is determined to find her and document all that is being lost, but his task is far from easy.
