Bidh An Lanntair a’ comharrachadh Mìos Eachdraidh LGBT leis a’ chuspair “Beatha eileanach – coimhearsnachd is dearbh-aithne”.  Bidh sinn an sàs ann an grunnan thachartasan, bùthan-obrach agus filmichean a bhios a’ sgrùdadh agus a’ comharrachadh dhaoine agus chultar LGBT air feadh an t-saoghail agus air an eilean againn.

PechaKucha – 22nd Feb 2018, An Lanntair Gallery at 7pm
This year, as part of An Lanntair’s LGBT History Month in February 2018, we will be hosting a PechaKucha night on Thursday 22nd February at 7pm in An Lanntair’s Gallery. The event will invite artists from our local community to come along and contribute presentations about their work and creative practice, all focused around our theme of LGBT History Month: ‘island life – community and identity.’ For more information please visit the event page – PechaKucha “Island life – community and identity”.

Recoat Graffiti Workshops
Recoat is made up of Ali Wyllie and Amy Whiten. They are a Glasgow based arts organisation who specialise in contemporary urban art, holding exhibitions, running workshops and painting murals across the UK and abroad with everyone from primary schools to prisons to internationally renowned artists. Ally and Amy will be working with local young people to explore the theme of ‘island life – community and identity’ as part of LGBT History Month and The Year of Young People 2018.
