Lewis songs with Ceitlin Lilidh

Thurs 18 July

Have you always wanted to try Gaelic singing? If so, why not come and learn a few songs from the Isle of Lewis with SIAN’s Ceitlin Lilidh. No previous experience of Gaelic or singing necessary. Participants will receive a booklet with all the material covered but are more than welcome to take a small recording device along too.

As a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, winner of the Traditional Gold Medal at the Royal National Mòd and with a Danny Kyle award under her belt, Ceitlin Lilidh has a wealth of experience performing all over the world as an ambassador to Gaelic song. As well as establishing a solo career, Ceitlin is a member of SIAN who will be performing at this year’s Heb Celt.

This workshop will be held in The Space @ Stornoway Library
