Since modern technology and social media will feature in the festival alongside the theme of mental health, the Board not Bored are keen to also offer some mindfulness sessions during the week of the festival.

Being a millennial is great in a lot of ways but stress is an integral part of modern life . Take a minute to yourself to learn to overcome the stress and pressure of daily life.

These sessions will be lead by Heather Ballie of Being Heather.

This workshop offers an interactive introduction to mindfulness, including a guided meditation that will allow participants to experience how self-love, self-care and self-compassion can support their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Heather says, “I am drawn to supporting and teaching others how to create supportive practices that will allow people to take care of their mind, body and spirit, to heal from traumas they have experienced in order to journey towards wholeness and above all, to learn how to live a joyful life.”
