Eyes as Big as Plates is an ongoing collaborative project by the Norwegian-Finnish artist duo Karoline Hjorth and Riitta Ikonen. Driven by curiosity and imagination the artists have travelled to over a dozen countries on a quest to understand our relationship with our surroundings.
This will be a first for the Eyes as Big as Plates team in Scotland and will feature as part of the Nationwide Luminate Festival of Creative ageing for the Cianalas project at An Lanntair.
Over the course 27th of May to the 4th of June Riitta and Karoline will be inviting older islanders to have their own outdoor portraits taken using the different landscapes and materials around them. If you would like find out about having your portrait done please get in touch with Jon Macleod at firstname.lastname@example.org
On Tues the 4th of June Eyes as Big as Plates will be giving an artist talk in the Community Room at An Lanntair. The talk is free but booking is essential.
