Matjaz Vidmar is a doctoral student in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies at the University of Edinburgh and at the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh. He is an (Astro)Physicist by training, with further degrees in Social Science, and is involved in many international initiatives to develop the future of Space Exploration; he is chairman of Gateway Earth Development Group, proposing new modular space access architecture, and lead coordinator of British Interplanetary Society Scotland Branch.
