Stornoway Astronomical Society presents a free talk by astrophysicist Matjaz Vidmar.

From Charles Piazzi Smyth to Scottish Spaceport: 200 Years of Reaching For The Stars will link the rich history of astronomy and space science in Scotland with exciting new developments including the proposal to build the first Scottish spaceport. As ideas evolved about the future of space exploration and an off-Earth economy, what are the opportunities for Scotland?
